5. Service Requests and Processing Times
A service request may be initiated through our website, telephone, WhatsApp, email, or an in-person visit.
Before proceeding, customers should confirm the scope of the requested service, the applicable charges, and any additional requirements.
Processing times may depend on:
- The relevant government authority or third-party organisation.

- Appointment availability.
- Additional verification or approval requirements.
- Public holidays, system outages, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Any processing time communicated by BAWABA is an estimate unless a specific commitment has been expressly agreed in writing.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide updates when relevant information becomes available.
6. Service Fees and Payments
Service fees will be communicated to customers before the service is confirmed or payment is requested. All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED).
Depending on the service, the total amount payable may include:
- BAWABA’s service fee.
- Government or authority fees.
- Third-party service charges.
- Appointment, courier, translation, attestation, or other applicable charges.
Where possible, these charges will be identified separately so customers understand what they are paying for.
Customers must pay the agreed amount using the payment methods made available by BAWABA.
For online payments, including payments made through Tabby or other payment providers, the transaction may also be subject to the payment provider’s terms and conditions.
A payment receipt or invoice will be provided as applicable.
BAWABA will not knowingly charge customers for services or fees that have not been agreed upon or properly disclosed, subject to applicable legal requirements.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Customers who wish to cancel a service or request a refund should contact BAWABA as soon as possible.
Refund requests will be assessed according to the nature of the service, the work already completed, the payments already made to government authorities or third parties, and applicable UAE law.
The following principles apply:
- Before work begins: A refund may be available, subject to any disclosed and lawful charges already incurred.
- After work begins: The amount refundable will depend on the work completed, costs incurred, and applicable legal requirements.
- Government and third-party fees: Amounts already paid to an authority or third party may be non-refundable under that party’s rules. This does not remove any refund rights that apply under UAE law.
- Service not delivered: Where a service has not been provided as agreed, the customer may be entitled to an appropriate remedy under applicable law.
- Rejected applications: A rejected government application does not automatically mean BAWABA’s administrative service was not performed. Refund eligibility will depend on the agreed service, the circumstances, and applicable law.
Approved refunds will be processed within 5 working days to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take up to 14 working days for the refund to appear in your account. For payments made through Tabby, refunds will be processed through Tabby and may be subject to their timelines.
For further details, please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Nothing in these terms limits a customer’s rights under applicable consumer-protection legislation.
8. Documents and Personal Information
BAWABA may need to collect and process personal information and documents to provide requested services.

Customers must only provide information they are authorised to share.
BAWABA will handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements and its Privacy Policy.
Customers should avoid sending sensitive documents through unverified communication channels.
We may share relevant information with the appropriate government authorities, service providers, or authorised third parties when necessary to fulfil a requested service or meet a legal obligation.

Their requirements, fees, operating hours, processing times, and decisions may change without notice.
